22 motowerks

THE inspiration BEHIND 22 Motowerks:

22 Motowerks is a worldwide brand that has become a CULTURE revolving around motorcycle SAFETY riding. Known for our custom and loud designs with wicked Graphix, color combo’s and “drip” placement, its no surprise why 22 Motowerks has built bikes that have reached concert stages with artists like 50 cent, Da Baby, A Boogie, Lil uzi Vert plus many more!

Eddie Abraham (aka Eazy22) has single-handedly created Long Island, NY’s premier independent motorsports brand, 22 Moto Werks. The Long Island native grew up frequenting drag races at the English Town Raceway, and it ignited a lifelong passion for all things speed, kinetic energy and the machinery that harnessed it. Though he appreciates all aspects of racing, motorbike racing is his top choice. The company began in 2012 after Abraham designed his very first bike. Four years later he began taking orders from a select group of customers, and in 2019 he established the 22 Moto Werks LLC and has continued to soar from there. In addition to the creation of bespoke motorbikes, parts, apparel and other accoutrements, Abraham also offers a 9-module online webinar to teach racers old and new how to safely maximize their velocity and enjoyment of the sport. 22 Moto Werks has acquired many brand partnerships with companies like Cardo Systems, Cali Hunter Organics, Brock’s Performance and Armour Bodies (amongst others) and was even commissioned by the rapper/mogul, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, to use his motorcycles as stage props at the massive Rolling Loud concert in 2021. In his personal life, Abraham enjoys playing percussion instruments, discovering and listening to music, tactical firearms and is currently learning tattoo artistry.

If in the Oneonta, NY region, 22 Moto Werks also has a partnership with New York Safety Track (NYST) and one can train and race with him directly.

  • Often time we dismiss advice from enthusiasts who haven’t won “numerous championships”, here at 22 Motowerks; its our understanding that while champions have amazing experience, extremely difficult accolades, not all “champions” have the verbiage to connect with students. Motorcycle training at 22 moto uses real life references to bride the gap with certain motorcycle theories which do not require a championship title to help save a life. For example, trail braking often scares students because the term seems difficult. I often ask students have then gotten off an exit ramp with alittle more approaching speed than normal? When replied yes, I explain how maintaining braking pressure into the exit ramp and gradually releasing is an “everyday function” of trail braking that we utilize without realizing.

22 motowerks is founded by Eazy 22, Eazy is a Long Island NY native; a proud Father, spouse, entrepreneur with 2 collegiate degrees, one of which in business and marketing. Eazy has over 40 hours of public speaking 400 level course experience, commercial and private sales experience and parents who have kept him in the riders/drivers seat of a motored vehicle at all times. Starting what he thought was his “career” in 2015, Eazy left the nest at 25 years old and began a career as a corrections officer on notorious Rikers Island. Carrying a legal firearm at a young age was a huge responsibility for a young man with an ego. They say, with that comes with big responsibility. During his training on rikers, eazy learned to effectively use IPC skills to maintain safety for self and those under his care. IPC short for Interpersonal Communication Skills, “behaviors that help you intercat with other effectively in the workplace, school or in the larger world. There is always a unique angle of approach when speaking with others and we feel what makes 22 motowerks unique and separated from the rest is our ability to read the room very quickly, listening before speaking and analyzing all information provided to respond in the most effective manner possible.

Worked trackside with 2022 national stock 1000cc champion Corey alexander. Personal friend, coach, bike and car enthusiast, corey and I met online in 2013 yet never fell out of touch. As I posted madman street racing/riding videos, corey always encouraged me to migrate to the track. Out of my budget or concern I stuck to what I knew and thought was the best at the time until 2020. May 2020 I hosted my first private track day at New York Safety Track, the first moto event during the height of the pandemic. Only 40 riders each day, my life at the track has never looked back at streets since. The smooth tarmac, the level of precision needed to hit markers, the IQ to hear/read and adjust to other riders around you was a different type of stimulation that the streets just couldn’t compare for me. From 2010-2019 each summer I recorded a minimum of 4000 miles each summer (May-oct), if math serves me well, that’s 40,000 street miles that couldn’t compare to my first track weekend! Since may 2020 22 motowerks has hosted over 10 private events funded and organized solely by 22 motowerks. Hosting track days is not a get rich scheme nor is it for the weak minded, a lot of logistics to consider when dealing with the safety of others. Zero ambulance departures, minimal red flags and zero significant injuries, 22 motowerks is proud to continue serving the moto community while educating and giving an experience that lingers into the next years schedule time and time again.

22 per view- a need by case virtual meeting via zoom. Approx. 45 min- hour max. independently discusses your personal troubles. Motorcycle riding is like baking in the sense of ingredients combined to make the proper dish. Let’s explain further, if you’re making a cake and forget to add butter, the foundation may not have the same taste/integrity vs if you did use butter. Sometimes with riding, if you can clear that one grey area you’re struggling with, that may connect all the dots for you to overcome that plateau.  Trust me, all riders hit a plateau as were constantly trying to better ourselves little by little within the safety margin. We all reach a limit were not willing to surpass, until confidence or that “piece of the puzzle” connects for us, and we overcome.
